Hi, I'm Tiffany Apodaca

I’m running for Fresno City Council, District 3.

I’ve spent over a decade serving our community on the front lines—supporting families, protecting victims, and responding to crisis situations when it matters most. Through this work, I’ve seen the real challenges our neighborhoods face, but also the strength and resilience of the people who call Fresno home.

Now, I’m ready to bring that experience to City Hall—delivering safer neighborhoods, stronger communities, and real, accountable leadership for District 3.

My Plan for a Better District 3

Public Safety

Safer neighborhoods through stronger coordination between law enforcement, emergency response teams, and victim service providers—ensuring fast, effective, and community-centered care.

Protecting Neighborhoods

Preserve the character of our communities by protecting generational homes, preventing displacement, and investing in cleaner, stronger neighborhoods.

Affordable Housing

Support working families by expanding housing opportunities, stabilizing rent pressures, and helping residents achieve and maintain homeownership.

Education

Support access to quality education because strong schools build stronger communities and create long-term opportunity for our families.

Accountability

Ensure City Hall is transparent, responsive, and accountable—where every resident’s voice is heard and reflected in decision-making.

Economic Growth

Invest in small businesses, workforce development, and local job creation to strengthen District 3’s economy and keep resources in our community.

About Tiffany

I am a proud Fresno native who has spent more than a decade serving our community on the front lines of crisis response and support. I currently serve as Crisis Response Manager at the Marjaree Mason Center, where I lead teams responding to victims of domestic violence across Fresno County.

Before that, I co-founded Fresno County’s first safe house for survivors of human trafficking and helped lead the organization for 11 years—working with community partners to provide safety, advocacy, and long-term support.

District 3 is the heart of Fresno—home to vibrant neighborhoods, small businesses, and a rich cultural history. As someone born and raised here, I care deeply about our future and believe our community deserves leadership that listens, supports local businesses, and delivers thoughtful, real solutions.

My commitment to this work is also personal. I bring lived experience with domestic violence and human trafficking, which drives my passion for building safer, stronger communities.

I’ve been married for 25 years and am part of a large blended family. My faith and family guide my commitment to service. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Christian Leadership.

I believe in transparent leadership, responsible decision-making, and working together to strengthen Fresno while protecting the character of our neighborhoods.

I’m ready to bring real-world experience and strong leadership to Fresno City Council.
